The Southwest Museum of the American Indian invites you to climb Mount Washington and rise to new cultural heights. Kumeyaay: Survival in the Weave (Short) A Kumeyaay elder and master basket weaver turns an ancient tradition into a modern commodity, walking the delicate line between product and sacred tradition.
Our Land, Our Life (NR) When the Bureau of Land Management informs Carrie and Mary Dann, two feisty Western Shoshone sisters, that their livestock are trespassing on U.S. public land without a permit—the same land granted to the Western Shoshone by the government in 1863—the sisters take their dispute to the Supreme Court and beyond. Winner of Best Documentary Feature at the 32nd Annual American Indian Film Festival.

Ramona Band of Cahuilla Indians (Short) An intimate portrait of the history and continued survival of this resilient Southern California tribe.
Miss Navajo (NR) Follow the journey of one contestant in the Miss Navajo Nation pageant, which emphasizes traditional Navajo values, language, and inner beauty.

Crazy Ind’n (Short) This stop-motion short portrays the adventures of the subversively-named character Crazy Ind’n on his quest to rescue the skull of Geronimo.
Imprint (NR) (Horror—may be inappropriate for children) When a Native American attorney returns home to the reservation to visit her dying father, ghostly voices and apparitions propel her on a journey of discovery she could never have foreseen. Winner of Best Film at the 32nd Annual American Indian Film Festival.

Impro TheatreThe fifth Wednesday of July presents an extra night of entertainment with the hilarious sketch comedy of Impro Theatre. The company has performed at festivals from Amsterdam to New Zealand receiving standing ovations, critical praise, and first place awards. Among their illustrious alumni are Wayne Brady, Mike McShane, and Brad Sherwood of "Whose Line Is it Anyway?" The cast takes audience suggestions and performs scenes and games to create instant comedy. Come enjoy an evening of comedy improv customized just for you.
