This year’s Dinner and a Movie series looks at
the “cowboys and presidents” connection in Gene Autry movies. Tuesdays in July, ride on
over to the Autry and spend a beautiful summer evening enjoying a tasty dinner, curator-led talks in the new Cowboys and Presidents exhibition, and a classic Gene Autry Western movie.
The regular cast of characters is returning:
Senior Curator Michael Duchemin will lead
the Gene Autry gallery talks, Vice President of
Gene Autry Entertainment Karla Buhlman will
host the talk before the film, and of course,
beautifully restored images of Gene Autry and Champion will grace the movie screen. Plus, the Golden Spur Cafe has planned some tasty meals to kick off the evening!
