This Shall be the Land for Women was sponsored by a generous grant from Miriam B. Johnson, of Colorado and Oregon. Ms. Johnson credits the strong female members of her family for the sense of responsibility that she feels towards the girls and women of today and tomorrow. She is a founding donor, and one of the first supporters, of the Women of the West Museum.
