The Harmony Workshop

Always wanted to sing western harmony?  Singing harmony brings joy to the world!  Come join the fun in this stress-free theory and practice workshop presented by Carolyn Baker, M.Ed., and our special guest, the first lady of western harmony, Marilyn Tuttle.

The first hour-long session explores harmony theory. Then we'll put it all together in a one hour practical application with fun and easy harmony singing. Presenter Carolyn Baker, M.Ed., is the founder of legendary harmony trio Daughters of the Purple Sage, and is an Artist-in-Residence with The Music Center. She is the author of The Harmony Handbook (a small guide to world peace); produces CowgirlUp!;  has a solo CD, "Lasso the Moon"; and will be a Workshop Presenter at the 2008 WMA Awards Festival in Albuquerque, NM – November 20-23, 2008.

The Harmony Workshop will be presented Sunday, Sept. 7, 2-5pm in the Autry National Center classroom - 4700 Western Heritage Way, LA, CA, 90027 (across from the LA Zoo).
$30 Western Music Association & Autry National Center members; $40 non-members.
